Stamps and Smiles Sketch Challenge #8 - SASSC8

Hello Stamps and Smiles friends!! Welcome to the Stamps and Smiles Thursday Sketch Challenge "SASSC8". We want to thank all those that played along in last week's sketch challenge – your samples were beautiful, we hope you will continue to join us each week!!

Every Thursday a NEW sketch will be posted. There is no time limit on our challenge, so please play along whenever you are able!! If you upload to SCS, please include “SASSC8” in the keywords.

Stamps and Smiles Sketch Challenge #7 - SASSC7

Special Delivery

Thanks for stopping Stamps and Smiles!! Here is a quick card I created using the Mama Bunny Loves Me set. The sketch layout is from today's Sketch Challenge "SC220" over at Splitcoast.

For my design, I colored in the bunny using my Copics. The arms of the rabbit were slit so the baby bunny could fit inside her arms. I created a cracked egg using my oval Nestabilities and and my NEW EK Success punch. For a little extra detail on the egg and white panels, I embossed them using the large polka dots by Sizzix.

Mama Bunny & Me!!

This card was SOOOOO much fun to make, and I used three different Stamps and Smiles sets to make it! First, I stamped the Mama Bunny from Mama Bunny Loves Me and the little boy bunny from Egg Hunt on Choice White Cardstock (from Taylored Expressions!) in Memento Tuxedo Black, and I colored them both with my Copic Markers.

Using a craft knife, I CAREFULLY cut a slit on either side of Mama Bunny's arms in order to have enough room for her to actually HOLD her little boy bunny!!! Isn't that SO cute!! I was so happy to be able to actually make that work!!!

I paper pieced part of Mama Bunny's dress with some Delicate Dots DSP, which I what I used on the rest of my card!! I added some Bashful Blue striped ribbon and some So Saffron brads to finish off my card! The XOXO sentiment is from Eggstra Special!!
